Barkada Scuba

Bohol is renowned for its amazing diving and snorkelling, particularly around Panglao Island. There are also some great dive sites in Anda, in the far south-east corner of Bohol. We at Barkada also love a spot of underwater adventure from time to time so we have made it our business to know all the best dive instructors, guides and dive shops around Bohol.

We can take the hassle out of booking your diving experience - no more searching up and down the beach for the best deals, best gear or best instructors. We know people who can help you in English, French, German, Dutch, Italian or Japanese!

**Don’t sweat, we have NO BOOKING FEE. We can book dives for the same price as you get direct from the dive shops. Just give us an email and we will give all the options and prices.

Discover Scuba
Never dived before? Want to see what it’s like to breathe underwater?? This is a fantastic way to test out diving before you commit to a full course. It will take about 4 hours, covers some basic theory and skills and then gets you into the ocean to start making bubbles! Maximum depth is 12 meters, so you get to see plenty of beautiful coral reef and fish.

Fun Dives
Already certified? You can’t leave Bohol without taking a dive or two. We can schedule you in to join a group or have a personal guide take you to your choice of sites...

Refresher Course
OK, so you are a certified diver but the log book is a bit dusty. If you have been out of the water for more than 6 month we recommend you take a simple refresher course (about 3 hours) to get you back into shape for more diving.

Open Water Diver Certification
In 3 to 4 days (depending on your own pace) you can be a certified open water diver, licensed to dive anywhere in the world. You will get all the knowledge and skills you need to handle recreational diving in and out of the water.

Advanced Open Water Diver
Want to go deeper (deep dives), do it in the dark (night dives), or just be able to find your way around (navigation)? This course gives you the option to take on 5 new types of diving that extend you into new territory. It takes you about 2 days.

Rescue Diver / Emergency First Response
Be able to respond in an emergency or just a sticky situation. For certified divers that want to know how to take care of themselves and their buddies.
